Regina W. Schlesinger, nee Whitehill, age 94, beloved wife of the late Samuel; caring and cherished mother of Lee (Lisa Klopfer) Schlesinger, Ruth N. Becker and Jaye (David Steinhoff ) Schlesinger; proud and devoted grandmother of Emily (Kevin) Fitzgerald, Anna Steinhoff, Jennifer (Michael) Cody and Jeffrey Becker and great grandmother of two; dearest sister of the late Stanley (the late Carlyn) Whitehill; dear aunt and great aunt. Born in Baltimore and married in Chicago, she lived for many years in Skokie and Buffalo Grove before moving to Ann Arbor to be close to her children. She was active in the Temple Judea Sisterhood and the Middleton School PTA when her children were young. Chapel service Friday 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
